Rediscover.Develop.Nurture

We invite you on a journey to rediscover your primary personality, your essence, your soul. So often buried within us, it is hidden but never lost. Using a mix of play, touch, movement and group discussion let’s rediscover together. Promoting joy in a safe, fun, supportive environment.
Understand and develop techniques to move through the Emotional Vasomotoric Cycle. Fostering greater self regulation, awareness of the emotions and allowing for their expression through the body. This leads to more choice and allows each individual more freedom to reach their full potential.

The Primary Personality

The primary personality is like the core essence of who we are. It’s the combination of traits, behaviours, and attitudes that make us unique and special. Imagine it as the warm, glowing heart of our character, radiating kindness, empathy, and understanding. This personality guides how we interact with the world, how we respond to challenges, and how we connect with others. It’s the gentle, loving spirit that makes us who we are, always ready to offer a smile, a comforting word, or a helping hand.

Emotional Vasomotoric Cycle (EVMC)

The Emotional Vasomotoric Cycle is one of the core principles in Biodynamic Psychotherapy and is at the heart of the work that Rodewell do.

The central tenet of the Emotional Vasomotoric Cycle  is the idea that our emotional experiences follow a natural, cyclical process – tension, charge, discharge, and relaxation.

Imagine it like the gentle tidal flow of the ocean. Emotions build up like waves (tension), reach a peak (charge), crash onto the shore (discharge), and then recede back into calm waters (relaxation). This cycle helps our body and mind process and release emotional energy, leading to a state of balance and well-being.

At its heart, this tenet emphasizes the importance of allowing emotions to flow naturally, without interruption. When we embrace this cycle, we can experience a deeper sense of emotional health and harmony, much like how the rhythmic waves bring a sense of peace and continuity to the shoreline.
